Serve on Sunday

Jesus liked to hang out in the synagogue. He called it his "father's house" and he loved it; in fact he was "consumed" by it. Although we at the Riverside Community believe that worship is a way of living and that it cannot be contained to one morning and one building, we also recognize the beauty of a regular gathering on Sunday mornings. We believe that the creator of the universe digs it when his people gather in his house to learn about why exactly we are here and how exactly we are supposed to function.

God chose to live in a tent before he chose to live in the very hearts of His people. When God asked His people to pitch this tent, he took the set up very seriously. God called very specific people to serve in preparing His dwelling space.

Join us as we follow our ancestors and reclaim the ancient beauty of creating a space for the Holy One to come an be with us. There are multiple ways to serve on Sunday mornings including setup, tear down, hospitality, and first impressions.
